What We Do

A focused model for closing gaps in Caribbean medical care.

Founded in 2024 by gastroenterologist Dr. Gyanprakash Ketwaroo, CaribHealth concentrates resources where they create durable change: direct clinical missions, the equipment to sustain them, and the training and grants that let local providers carry the work forward.

Medical Missions

Volunteer clinical teams deliver screenings, consultations, and procedures — with founding strength in digestive health — at partner sites across the Caribbean.

Equipment Donation

Sourcing, refurbishing, and shipping diagnostic and procedural equipment to clinics operating with limited infrastructure.

Training & Education

Hands-on workshops and continuing education that build local capacity in symptom recognition, triage, and procedure technique.

Training Grants

Grants that fund the education of medical professionals who serve — or are preparing to serve — communities across the Caribbean.

Georgetown, Guyana January 2025

Led a local workshop on complex polypectomies and ERCP, and secured an agreement to support the first ERCP performed in Guyana.

Why It Matters

“Across much of the Caribbean, conditions routinely managed elsewhere go undiagnosed for years. Closing that gap is not charity — it is the right thing to do.”
